Tarpons move game up to Thursday

Tarpons move game up to Thursday

South Lafourche head football coach Dennis Skains confirmed to The Gazette this morning that Friday's scheduled game between the Tarpons and South Terrebonne will be played on Thursday night. Skains said the move is to avoid bad weather, which is forecast to sweep through South Louisiana throughout the weekend. Kickoff for the game will remain at 7 p.m. It will be the final game of the regular season for both teams.

South Lafourche head basketball coach and Athletic Director Brian Callais also confirmed that because of the football game being moved, the Tarpons' basketball scrimmage against E.D. White will now be played on Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the South Lafourche gym. The scrimmage was originally set for Thursday afternoon.
