Reward Offered In Raceland Library Burglary Case
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a burglary which occurred at a public library in Raceland last week.
On Monday, August 5, deputies responded to the Lafourche Parish Public Library Raceland Branch located at 177 Recreation Drive in Raceland. Library workers discovered a rear door unlocked when they arrived shortly before 10 a.m. on Monday. They also discovered forced entry had been made into an internal office and that cash and electronic devices were missing.
Detectives are asking for the public’s help to solve this crime which occurred at some point between 6 p.m. on Friday, August 2, and 10 a.m. on Monday, August 5.
