Reward Offered For Information On Stolen Dirt Bike

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for stealing an off-road motorcycle (dirt bike) in Mathews last week.

Just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning, February 12, deputies received a call in reference to a dirt bike being stolen from a residence on Lococo Drive in Mathews (near Central Lafourche High School). The dirt bike had been stored in a shed on the property.

Witnesses saw the dirt bike in the bed of a pickup truck as it left the scene. The pickup truck is described as being a dark color with an extended cab.

The stolen bike is red and white Honda CRF150F. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Bayou Region Crime Stoppers at 1-800-743-7433 or by texting “GIVEATIP” plus your message to 274637. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest.

Tips can also be submitted using the TipSubmit Mobile application or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org or via the “Submit a Tip” tab on the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office official Facebook Page.
