Reward Being Offered In Cut Off For Business Burglary Case
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who stole several hundred gallons of diesel fuel and other items from a Cut Off business.
On the night of Tuesday, October 16, deputies were called to a business on East 40th Street about a possible burglary. When deputies arrived they learned that a large amount of diesel had been spilled around a tank at the rear of the business. There was also evidence of forced entry at a gate near the tank.
Approximately 1,400 gallons of diesel was reported missing along with an orange Husqvarna chainsaw and two 25-pound rolls of copper.
