The 2nd Annual La Fete Des Vieux Temps, “Festival of Old Times”, will be held on October 2, 3 and 4 on LA 1 and Hwy. 90, at the Tourist Center.
The Festival will kickoff on Friday, Oct. 2 with music by “Bayou Deluxe” from 6 to 9 p.m. and “Natural Satisfaction” from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Saturday, Oct. 3, festivities begin at 11 a.m. with music by “Tet Dur” till 3 p.m., followed by “Souled Out” from 4 to 8 p.m. and “Terri and the Fellas”, from 9 p.m. till 1 a.m.
On Sunday, Oct. 4, “Pot 2 La” will entertain the crowd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by “Junior Lacrosse” from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Demonstrations throughout the festival will include traditional boat building, United Houma Nation exhibits, an old-fashioned hog boucherie, a cane syrup mill, alligator farming and hunting, cooking kettle corn, and lots more.
Great Cajun food will be featured throughout the weekend, along with auctions, pay one price rides, craft booths, and much more.
