Passes (and will still host lots of free parking) Trick or Treating and a costume contest for children and much more. As a special preview on Sunday there will also be a few special features: Skinny Louisiana author Shelly Marie Redmond will be on hand with a cooking demonstration at 1 pm followed by a book signing and Alexis Braud will do a reading from her Children’s Book Cajun ABC at 2pm followed by a book signing. The festival is also co-hosting “Conter Des Contes” a story gathering of Bayou Lafourche to record stories, tales (tall and otherwise), rememberance and legends that will later be sent to contributers as a keepsake! Be sure to share your story. The festival has also asked mass attendees to note that Our Lady of the Rosary’s Fairworker’s Mass will begin at 9:00 am and casual attire is accepted.
