Police Seek To Identify Suspect In Aggravated Burglary Of A Pharmacy
Golden Meadow Chief of Police Reggie Pitre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for committing an aggravated burglary of a pharmacy earlier this month.
Just after 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, an unknown male suspect arrived at the drug store wearing a white shirt, shorts and a white bandana concealing his face, and he was brandishing a firearm. He shattered the glass door to the pharmacy and fled on foot.
Approximately 20 minutes later, he returned to the scene wearing a red shirt but still dressed in shorts with the white bandana while carrying the firearm. Upon his return, the suspect entered the pharmacy, and attempted to break into a secure area where prescription medications were stored. After being unable to do so, he fled the scene again. The pharmacy owner found no missing items following the burglary.
