Penny Dufrene Orgeron 57, native and resident of Gheens, LA died November 19, 2018.

Visitation was on Friday, November 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport and from 9 a.m. to funeral time on Saturday, November 24 at the Gheens Presbyterian Church in Gheens. Religious services was held at 12 noon at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She survived by her daughter Cheryl Orgeron Hosea and her son-in-law Phillip Hosea and her Dog Rocky. Brothers Robert Dufrene Jr (Cindy) Bryan Dufrene Sr. (Denise) and Corky Dufrene (Andrea) Former husband Ted (Chop) Orgeron. She has 8 nieces and nephews and 4 great-nephew’s and one on the way; and one Grand dog Sarge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. Dufrene Sr. and Georgia Bouvier Dufrene.; her Grandparents, Duffy P. Bouvier and Enola Hebert Bouvier; one brother, Rickey Dufrene; one sister-in-law, Charmaine D. Dufrene; one brother -in -law Tom Orgeron and 3 grandsons Carter, Jackson, and Colin Hosea. One niece Katelynn Anne Dufrene

Penny was born February 11, 1961, she was a loving mother, Grom, Aunt, Nanny, and a friend. She loved her Dog Rocky. She loved to travel the United States with her family and friends. She loved going sleep in hotels, going to the beach and swimming with family by Aunt Lola and Uncle Ray’s house. She loved family gatherings. Her love for flowers were unexplainable. She enjoyed gong to the hunting lease with her family at 10 Point Buck Hunting Club. I want to thanks St. JOSEPH HOSPICE for their care.
