Paulette Polly (Mayeur) Pitre, of Cut Off, Louisiana, born on October 20, 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Delores Ancalade Guidroz and the late Louis Mayeur Sr., passed away at age 69 on January 2, 2019 in Orlando, Florida. She was a clerical at Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Fl. until retiring in 2016. Paulette's spouse was the late Albert J. Pitre. Later, she was married to her beloved Kenneth Griffin. She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Pitre; and daughter, Angie Pitre. Paulette is survived by her daughters, Cher Cheramie Mitchell, Ticy Pitre, Angela Griffin Johnston, and Lori Griffin; brothers, Louis Mayeur Jr., Jerome Mayeur Sr., Harris Guidroz Jr., Craig Mayeur, and Anthony Mayeur; sisters, Krine Mayeur Wale and Jackie Mayeur; and grandchildren, Jordy Pitre, Janie Pitre, Brandt Griffin, Mark Johnston, Raya Johnston, Logan Pederson, Jacob Czerwinski, Weslyn Borne and Jeffrey Pitre. Paulette loved arts and crafts, camping, playing her games on her iPad, and going to Disney World.
There will be a celebration of her life in the near future.
