Here is a rundown of action taken during tonight’s Lafourche Parish Council meeting. All votes were unanimous unless otherwise noted.

ACTION: Accepted the minutes of the Jan. 8, meeting.

ACTION: Accepted the minutes of the Jan. 22 meeting.

ACTION: Accepted the minutes of the Feb. 12 meeting.

ACTION: Approved an ordinance to install “No Parking” signs at the dead end of Edgewood Drive in Thibodaux.

ACTION: Approved an ordinance to reduce the speed limit from 25 mph to 20 mph on Bayou Bend Drive in Bayou Blue.

ACTION: Approved an ordinance to reduce the speed limit from 25 mph to 20 mph on Oakview Drive in Bayou Blue.

ACTION: Approved a servitude agreement with Mary Lynn Plaisance.

ACTION: Approved a servitude agreement with Rene A. Hebert Jr. and Nicolas R. Hebert.

ACTION: Approved a servitude agreement with Raceport Properties Inc., represented by Gerald Adams, its president.

ACTION: Approved a donation to Drainage District No. 1 of material needed for the outfall canal on Ranchland Trace.

ACTION: Approved a donation to Drainage District No. 1 of a lo-lift propeller pump needed for the West Larose electric pump station.

ACTION: Approved a donation to Drainage District No. 1 of a lo-lift propeller pump needed for the McCloud Pump Station.

ACTION: Approved a supplemental appropriation to set up a budget for the Marydale sewer system improvements project from the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program for $1.6 million.

ACTION: Approved a supplemental appropriation to set up the budget for money from Drainage District No. 1 in the amount of $50,000 for the West 56th Street project.

ACTION: Accepted the low quote of M & L Engine of $29,786 for the engine and gear box for the McCloud diesel pump.

ACTION: Approved a request for the use of Lockport Middle School for the parish recreation summer program.

ACTION: Approved a request for the use of Lockport Middle School for the parish recreation volleyball program.

ACTION: Approved a transfer of $35,000 from the Rink pump station to the Farmer’s Lane pump.

ACTION: Appointed Chad Davis, Leo White, Raymond Toups, Patrick Grabert and Laney Kirk to the Recreation District No. 2 Board.

ACTION: Appointed Neil Martin, Joey Bouziga, Derek Vedros, Marla Cooper and Damien St. Pierre to the Recreation District No. 3 Board.

ACTION: Appointed Cody Gautreaux, Damian Babin, George Sapia, Freddie Breaux III and Jeremiah Champagne to the Recreation District No. 8 Board.

ACTION: Appointed John Champagne, Rene LeBlanc III, Steven Rogers, Ricky Breaux and Josh Adams to the Recreation District No. 1 Board.

ACTION: Accepted the minutes of the Solid Waste Committee meeting of March 19.

ACTION: Accepted the proposal from River Birch as recommended by the Solid Waste Committee.
