From Monday, November 12:

-- Passed a resolution approving Anthony J. Alford Insurance Corp. for employee health, dental, and vision coverage with United Healthcare effective January 1, 2019 for all full time employees

-- Passed a resolution approving Anthony J. Alford Insurance Corp. for optional supplemental insurance benefits with Colonial Life to administer a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan effective January 1, 2019 for all full time employees (Armand Autin voted “nay”)

-- Passed a resolution approving Anthony J. Alford Insurance Corp. for supplemental insurance with VOYA Financial effective January 1, 2019 for all full time employees

-- Passed a resolution approving Anthony J. Alford Insurance Corp. for employee health gap plan coverage by Gulf Guaranty Life

From Tuesday, November 13:

-- Accepted public and parish council comments on the proposed 2019 Operations and Maintenance Budget and Capital Budget for Lafourche Parish

-- Passed an ordinance approving a Party Wall and Cross Access Easement/Servitude Agreement between Regency Cut Off, LLC and the parish

-- Passed an ordinance rescinding Ordinances 5781, 5782 and 5999 as they pertain to the creation of a parish wide recreation system and reverting back to the old system of individual board run districts (Daniel Lorraine and Jerry Lafont voted “nay”)

-- Passed an ordinance providing for the transfer of $240,000 from the Emergency Fund to General Fund for feeding prisoners and maintenance of the jail (Michael Gros abstained)

-- Passed an ordinance providing for a 2018 Supplemental Appropriation within the 2018 Operations and Maintenance Budget for the elevation of seven qualified properties funded under the 2017 Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant Program

-- Passed an ordinance providing for a 2018 Supplemental Appropriation within the 2018 Operations and Maintenance Budget for new and upgraded waterlines along East 44th in the amount of $47,180 and West 23rd in the amount of $43,537 in Cut Off

-- Passed a resolution requesting a rainfall study in South Lafourche to assist residents with flood insurance (vote was 8-0-1 with Corey Perrillioux absent during the vote)

-- Passed a resolution appointing Francine Chouest to the Head Start Policy Council

-- Passed a resolution appointing Johnny Ougel to the Fire Protection District #2 Board

-- Passed a resolution appointing Chad Bourgeois to the Fire Protection #3 Board

-- Passed 3 resolutions approving an agreement between the parish and VITA United Way for free tax preparation at the Thibodaux Health Unit, the Mathews Government Complex, and the Galliano Annex

-- Approved an amendment to the agreement between the parish and Ducks Unlimited, Inc. for additional funding of $29,000 for the Golden Meadow Marsh Creation Project

-- Passed a resolution supporting the selection of the Caminada Headlands Back Barrier Marsh Creation Increment 2 Project for Phase Two Construction funding

-- Passed a resolution supporting the selection of the East Catfish Lake marsh Creation and Shoreline Protection Project for Phase One engineering and design funding

-- Passed a resolution supporting the selection of the West Fourchon Marsh Creation and Nourishment Project for Phase Two Construction funding

-- Passed a resolution approving Change Order No. 1 from Volute, Inc., for the project titled “Galliano Bridge Inspection and Repair—West Approach Replacement” to decrease the contract price by $30,064.70 and add 122 additional days to the contract time

From Wednesday, November 14:

-- Accepted public and parish council comments at the Second Budget Public Hearing on the proposed 2019 Operations and Maintenance Budget and Capital Budget for Lafourche Parish (the final public hearing on 2019 budget will take place Tuesday, November 27)
