New Krewe Of Atlantis announces Royal Court
The Golden Meadow-based New Krewe of Atlantis has announced that Darryl Eymard and Joy Vizier Orgeron will reign as king and queen of this year’s Mardi Gras parade and festivities.
King Darryl Eymard is the son of Norris and Earline Eymard and the father of Brooke Eymard.
Queen Joy Vizier Orgeron is the daughter of Jamie, Sr. and Pauline Vizier and the mother of Amber Orgeron.
Serving as Duke is Terry Crosby, Jr., son of Terry, Sr. and Amanda Crosby.
Serving as Maids are Amber Orgeron, daughter of Queen Joy Vizier Orgeron and Donald Orgeron Jr.; Maid Carrera Johnson, daughter of Chris and Angela Johnson; Maid Kaitlin Vizier, daughter of Jamie Jr. and Karen Vizier and niece of the Queen Joy; Maid Melissa Hebert Delaune, daughter of Hansel and Elaine Rivere and Lanson Hebert Jr. and mother of Chance Delaune.
The theme of this year’s New Krewe of Atlantis parade is “Atlantis Rolls Through The Decades”.
The Krewe will celebrate with a ball on Friday, February 9th at the Cut Off Youth Center beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Queen Joy and King Darryl and the New Krewe Of Atlantis extends an invitation to all family members, friends, and an open invitation to the public to attend. Dress code is casual or costume. There is a small $5.00 cover charge at the door. Bring your own drinks.
The New Krewe of Atlantis will role through the traditional parade route through Golden Meadow on Saturday, February 10th starting at noon at the beginning of the Golden Meadow town limits.
