Nazia N. “DeDe” Chouest, 80, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Thursday, December 13th from 9 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Carol C. Chouest, Sr.; sons, Carl Kiger (Linda), Dwayne Kiger and Charles Kiger (Peggy); daughters, Dale Plaisance (Perry), Verlay Brock, Lisa Geromini (Tim) and Allison Sevin; stepsons, Carroll “Beau” Chouest, Jr. (Celeste), Wilson Chouest and David Chouest (Vilma); step-daughter, Angelina Lee (Richard); brother, Paul Naquin; sisters, Gladys Cheramie, Cheyenne Johnfroe (Gerald), Judy Doucet (Vincent), Ashley Hebert and Cathy Billiot; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Phyllis Naquin; son, Curtis Kiger; daughters, Audrey Duet and Gail Kiger; son-in-law, James Brock; step-daughter-in-law, Lisa Chouest; brother, Joseph Dupry; grandchildren, Mariah Plaisance and Trinity Kiger.
