Maybelle Mary Couvillon Navarre, 83, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at her home on November 11, 2013. 

She is survived by and will be missed by her children, Andrew Alvin Navarre and wife Ina Mae Gremillon Navarre of Baton Rouge; Suzanne Claire Navarre Delcambre and husband Robin Francis Delcambre of Richardson, TX; Gerianne Mary Navarre Pearson of Baton Rouge; Julie Anne Navarre Miller and husband Troy Carson Miller of Prairieville; and Mary Lucille Navarre Keiser and husband Shawn Jason Keiser of Maylene, AL. Grandchildren: Marcelle Alyce Navarre, Lynette Rachelle Navarre, Jolie Claire Delcambre, Robert Michel Delcambre, Madeleine Rose Delcambre, William Christopher Pearson, Catherine Noelle Pearson, Amanda Grace Pearson, Adam Jacob Miller, Aaron Matthew Miller, Joseph Ory Miller, Joshua Carson Miller, Elizabeth Anne Keiser, and Hannah Christine Keiser. Siblings: Harold Couvillon of Baton Rouge, James Couvillon and wife Audrey of Dallas, TX; David Couvillon and wife Peggy, Magnolia, AR; John Patrick Couvillon; Dallas, TX; Lawrence Couvillon, and wife Janet, Lafayette, LA; Margaret Couvillon Bell and husband Herbert of Dallas, TX; Rev. Br. Louis Couvillon, S.C. of New Orleans; and Carole Couvillon Ackman and husband Ronald; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Maybelle was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Alvin Joseph Navarre Jr.; parents, Dudley Joseph Couvillon, and Lucille Landry Couvillon; infant son, Richard Robert Navarre; brothers, Thomas Couvillon, and Br. Elliot (D.J.) Couvillon, S.C.; and son-in-law, Mark Stephen Pearson. 

Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 9:00 a.m., with Rosary at 10:30 a.m. led by members of the Legion of Mary, and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
