Marie Daigle Dufrene, 87, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 3:20 p.m. in Lockport.

Visitation was from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, George Dufrene, Jr. and wife Yola Jean, Lonnie Dufrene and wife Jesica, Wayne Dufrene; daughters, Cynthia Walk and husband Michael, Brenda Cheramie, Geraldine Janes and husband Doyt; son-in-law, Norman Robichaux; 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Dufrene, Sr.; daughters Marie Robichaux, Gwen Plaisance and husband Lawrence, Jr. and Gaylia Dufrene; parents Joseph and Marie Pichoff Daigle; brother, Antoine Daigle, and sister Theresa Daigle.
