Religious services were held on Friday, July 25 at 1 p.m. at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews for Malia Agatha Leonard, 13, a native and  resident of Lockport, who passed away on July 20, 2014 at 10:08 a.m.

Visitation was from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. service at the funeral home. Burial is pending.

She is survived by parents, Donald J. Leonard, Sr. and Pearl Sanchez; brothers, Donald Leonard, Jr., Jai Sanchez; sisters, Nicole Leonard, Valene Leonard, and Amelia Sanchez.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Edmond Leonard and Laura Mae Leonard, Edward Joseph Sanchez, Sr. and Amalia Billiot Sanchez.
