Loretta Cantrelle Foret, 76, a native of Larose and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28th, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, July 29, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Lisa Perrin (Tim) and Paula Theriot (Gerard); 7 grandchildren, Hunter and Austin Perrin, Claire, Nicholas and Jacob Theriot, Kayla and Brennan Pierce; and 2 brothers, Anthony and Michael Cantrelle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Foret; daughter, Melissa Foret; parents, Claudine and Julian Cantrelle; and 11 siblings, Marie Allemand, Agnes Plaisance, Lorenza Bonvillian, Earl, Jules, Armojean, Maurice, Claudine, Brenda, Benten, and Brenton Cantrelle.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a Catholic Daughter and a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was on the board of directors for the Raceland Senior Citizens Center.
