Lockport man disappointed in lack of Royalty

Lockport man disappointed in lack of Royalty

Watching the Krewe of Apollo parade Saturday was disappointing in the Krewe’s failure to have a king or a queen, especially after fifty years of service to the community.

However on the bright side Armand Autin, Lockport Fire Chief made the difference serving as Grand Marshall, more so that he elected not to ride, rather to greet the community on foot!

Hats off to the various float crews - great designs and application.

The floats were spread out with sub crews marching between them. While we served concessions and played music, the Trojan Band members danced to the music we played, totally cool. With the exception noted of not having a king or a queen - speaking from a family or former Monarch’s – great job Apollo!
