Lockport Food Festival gears up for weekend fun
The Lockport Food Festival will present La Fete Du Monde from Thursday, April 16, through Sunday, April 19 under the big tent located on Church Street.
The Festival will offer a Sneak-a-Peak night on Thursday, April 16 where rides can be purchased for only $1.00.
On Friday, April 17, festivities will begin with music by the Good Feelings Band from 6 until 9 p.m. An auction will take place from 9 to 10 p.m., followed with music by Supercharge, featuring classic rock, from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m.
On Saturday the La Fete Du Monde 5K Walk/Run will begin at 10 a.m. with registration from 8 to 10 a.m. Pre-register for the race at www.itsyourrace.com.
The festival crowd will be entertained earlier in the day with music by Southern Boyz, featuring swamp pop, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Later, from 2 till 5 p.m. swamp pop favorite POT2LA will perform followed by an auction from 5 till 6 p.m.
Entertainment Saturday night from 6 till 9 p.m. will be by country band Nashville South with an auction following from 9 till 10 p.m. Music by classic rock band Contraflow will begin at 10 p.m. and close out the festival at 1 a.m.
Sunday entertainment begins with the swamp pop band Tet-Dur at 11 a.m., an auction from 2 to 3 p.m., and music by Natural Satisfaction, featuring a variety of your favorite tunes, from 3 until 6 p.m. when the fair closes.
