Le Krewe Du Bon Temps 2017 royalty celebrates board games
Joy and Chad Bruce are honored to be reigning as King and Queen of Le Krewe Du Bon Temps 2017. The couple have been members of the Krewe since it's formation 12 years ago, in addition to being float captains from the beginning.
The Bruce’s, who are natives and residents of Galliano, are the
proud parents of four daughters, Katie, Olivia, Kayla, and Jordan.
Chad is the son of the late Donald Bruce, Mary and Rickey Gisclair, Patty Bruce and Art Boudreaux. He is the grandson of the late Onita Labiche, and Rosalie and Griven Bruce.
Chad is employed by Weeks Marine of Bourgeois, LA.
Joy is the daughter of Lumen and Celeste Terrebonne, Melissa Terrebonne and Keit "Doc" Thibodaux. She is the granddaughter of Mary Ann Terrebonne and the late Luman Terrebonne Sr. and the late Doris and Willis Lefort. Joy is a homemaker and housekeeper.
Joy and Chad enjoy cookouts and get-togethers with family and friends.
Chad's hobbies include fishing and trawling. Joy enjoys helping out at school, especially with their daughter, Jordan's third grade class, and spending quality time with their family. Their favorite time of year is Mardi Gras.
The Bruce’s are looking forward to reigning as King and Queen of Le Krewe Du Bon Temps on Saturday, February 25th, and invite everyone to join them and the Krewe as they roll beginning at 6:30 p.m. along LA 1 in Larose, celebrating board games as the theme of this year’s parade.
