Larry St. Cyr was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 28, 1940 and resided in Lockport, La for over 50 years. He entered Heaven’s gates on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Memorial services for Mr. Larry P. St. Cyr, age 77, of La Grange, Texas will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, Louisiana on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Visitation to the public will begin at 12:15 and mass will begin at 1 p.m.

The purest form of a cattleman, Larry was an excellent breeder of the Imperator bloodline of Brahman cattle. He was a faithful partner and devoted husband to his wife, Marlaine, of 44 years. Larry was a teacher, mentor, a true advocate of agriculture and an eternal optimist.

A believer in Christ, he became very active in the ACTS retreats and attended mass regularly.

He was a proud, beloved father of two daughters, Allyson and Heidi, in whom he instilled traits of tenacity, integrity and endurance.

He dearly loved his four grandchildren, Landon, Claire, Caroline and Chloe and visited them often.

He was a trusted friend and encourager to many and will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to: The VVA Chapter 870 Scholarship Fund, P.O.Box 83 Schulenburg, Texas 78956 or a charity of one's choice.
