Lafourche Parish Government names new public information officer
Mathews, LA – Lafourche Parish Government has announced the hiring of Thad Angelloz as its public information officer.
Angelloz, 34, of Thibodaux, assumed his PIO post on Monday.
Among other duties, Angelloz will be in charge of handling media inquiries and generating press releases on a regular basis for the parish.
Prior to accepting his current position, Angelloz worked at CHAND in Mathews as a technical editor for two years after spending more than five years at The Courier and Daily Comet newspaper as a staff writer.
“I am excited about the challenges that await me in my new role with the parish,” Angelloz said. “I look at this as an opportunity to inform the public about everything going on in the parish where I live with my family and am a lifelong resident. With a strong background in media that encompasses more than 17 years, I will do my very best to bring my many experiences to my new job with the parish.”
