Lafourche Parish DA's office donates to Wildlife and Fisheries
The Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office donated eleven truck bed evidence storage chests to the local Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement division on Tuesday, February 2.
“We have often donated money and supplies to help the cause of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement in Lafourche Parish since I became District Attorney, and I am glad to continue this fine endeavor,” Lafourche Parish District Attorney Camille A. Morvant, II said. “I think this is a good example of agencies working together and directing resources to accomplish a common goal.”
Accepting the donation Tuesday was Capt. Chuck Comeaux, a 29-year veteran of Wildlife and Fisheries, who echoed that sentiment, noting that his agency has had a great working relationship with the DA’s office and Morvant.
Comeaux said he was appreciative of this donation, as well as the other contributions from the DA’s office over the years.
