John “JZ” Zuleger, 57, a longtime resident of the road, passed away on September 24, 2014.
He is survived by his long suffering wife, Alison Zuleger; mother, Mapuana Zuleger; brother, Peter Zuleger; sisters, Mary Zuleger, Jamie Zuleger and Louise Zuleger all of Arcata, CA; nephews, Benjamin and Anastasia Herman, Levon Bailey, Phillip and Alison Brown and Richard McKee; nieces, Amy and John Nabors and Paula and Jerry Claussen.
He was a lifelong musician who inspired many with his love of music. He attended Musicians Institute (G.I.T.) where he won the “Most Outstanding Stylist” in 1994. He traveled the world to play his guitar. He loved teaching and inspiring young talented musicians. He lived his life for music. He was a very talented guitar player.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Rolf A. Zuleger of Arcata, CA.
There will be a Celebration of Life for JZ on Sunday, November 16 at the Oakridge Park in Golden Meadow.
