A mass of Christian burial will be held on October 22 at 12 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose for Jane Orgeron Savoie, 93, a resident of Larose and native of Cut Off, who died on October 18, 2012 at 3:36 a.m.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. service at the church. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by sons, Ray Savoie and wife Beverly, Bobby Savoie and wife Joyce, Russell Savoie and wife Emmalee, Jackie Savoie and wife Ronell, Jerry Savoie and wife Joan; daughter, Bea Savoie Dantin and husband Nelson “Smokey”; son in law, Daniel Defelice; brothers, Raymond “Blue” Orgeron, Whitney “T-Whit” Orgeron; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ulysse Savoie; parents, Sylvest and Mathilde Danos Orgeron; daughters, Elois Heberyt and husband Weisney “Red” Katie Defelice; brother, Anthony “Tony” Orgeron; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters, Mable Orgeron Savoie and Eucharist Orgeron.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters.
