James “J.C.” Hebert, 78, born in Lafayette, LA, past resident of Lockport and graduate of Lockport High School, current resident of Picayune, MS for the past 36 years, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015.
He is survived by a daughter Jamie Hebert, son Brooks Hebert, stepdaughter Raquel Theriot, stepson James Theriot, grandson Brance Hebert, 3 sisters, Anna Champagne, Lula Simoneaux, Leona Mire, one brother R.J. “Buck” Hebert, 9 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Renoudet and Noemie Hebert, four brothers, three sisters and 1 stepdaughter.
He was an Army veteran.
Services will be held Sunday, Sept. 20 at 5 p.m. at McDonald’s Funeral Home in Picayune, MS with burial at Unity Baptist Church on Monday, Sept. 21 in Picayune, MS.
