Irvin “Bun” Adams, Jr., a native of Lockport and resident of Raceland passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 70.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joy Plaisance Adams; son, Irvin “Trey” Adams III (Dana Mahler); son-in-law, Michael Boudreaux; brother, Terry Adams; grandchildren, Tracy Adams, Hailey Boudreaux, and Jordan Boudreaux; great-grandchild, Ava Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin J. Adams, Sr. and Vivian Champagne Adams; daughters, Desiree A. Boudreaux and Denise Adams; great-grandchild, Elijah Williams.
Bun was an avid family man. He loved gardening, fishing and watching sports.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.
