Houma Man Arrested For Molestation Of A Juvenile
A Houma man who admitted to having inappropriate sexual contact with a minor was arrested following an investigation conducted this week.
On Monday, August 19, juvenile detectives launched an investigation into Martin Bourg, 50, of 166 Brien Street in Houma, after learning he allegedly had sexual contact with a juvenile approximately one year ago.
Following their investigation, detectives contacted Bourg Wednesday and questioned him about the incident. During questioning, Bourg admitted to his involvement and was subsequently placed under arrest.
He was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux where he was booked with molestation of a juvenile. He was released after posting $25,000 bond as had been set by Judge John LeBlanc.
Further details regarding the incident, as well as the victim’s age and gender, are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
