Henry “Jr. Boy” P. Vega, 81, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on November 29, 2018. Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Monday, December 3, from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 4, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 8:30 a.m. until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with burial following in the Church cemetery.

Mr. Henry is survived by the mother of his children, Linda L. Vega; children, Louise Vega (Willie) and Elizabeth Vega; son-in-law, John “Beaver” Griffin Sr. (Barbara LeBouef); grandchildren, Linda Carcisse (Travis), Lana LaBauve (Randy Jr.), Natasha Vega Gilmore (Greg), David Lirette Jr. (Allyssa), and John Paul Griffin Jr. (Kimberly); great grandchildren; Katelynn Davis, Serenity Wiggins, Colby, Chole, Bohdi, and Finley LaBauve, Alaya Gilmore, Daimen and Draeden Lirette, and Arcly Griffin.

Mr. Vega was preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. and Louise T. Vega; and two sisters.

He was a member and former Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #3150, President of Alcohol Anonymous of Southeast Region, a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Cut Off, and an avid trumpet player for many years.
