Grafton to serve as Golden Meadow Fourchon Tarpon Rodeo admiral

Dr. Lee “Bo” Grafton has been announced as the Admiral of the 71st Annual Golden Meadow Fourchon Tarpon Rodeo.

Dr. Grafton resides in Thibodaux with his wife Becky Aysen Grafton, and their three children, Beau (10), Georgia (8), and Leigh (6). He grew up in Ruston, Louisiana where his passion for hunting and fishing began.

He received his medical degree from LSU Medical Center-Shreveport and completed his residency in Dermatology at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, with the title of Chief Resident.

In July 1999, Dr. Grafton opened Grafton Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, an independent practice in Thibodaux. Over the past 20 years, his practice has grown to providing multiple Dermatologist, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners and has expanded to four locations servicing Thibodaux, Houma, Raceland and Morgan City.

As an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Grafton has served as President of the Louisiana Academy of Dermatology and President of the Cutaneous Therapy Society. He is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and serves as a member of the American Society of MOHS Surgery for removal of skin cancer.

Bo has been a part of hosting TV shows for the last 18 years that expresses his love for the great outdoors. In the beginning, the Sportsman’s Paradise, Castin’ Cajun and now Keep on Castin’ features the area’s heritage and culture that is so important to the people in this Region and State. Dr. Grafton shares experiences of hunting and fishing to educate his audience and to share the wonderful adventures the outdoors has to offer.

Bo is dedicated to helping others and giving back to his community. He is an active participant in the Wounded War Heroes Foundation and Fishing Rodeo. He also recognizes and supports the service men and women for the sacrifices they’ve endured and appreciates the time spent with them during this event.

Dr. Grafton is also a lifetime board member of the Annual Creole Classic Fishing Rodeo which raises funds to support different non-profit organizations throughout the Parish.

Fishing on the Gulf Coast has always held a special place in his heart. The rodeos Bo has fished have provided him, his family and friends with many memories of fun times. Great family fun where memories are made are the best part of rodeo events!

Dr. Grafton is deeply honored to serve as the 2019 Admiral of the 71st Annual Golden Meadow Fourchon Tarpon Rodeo to be held on July 4 – 6, 2019 at Port Fourchon Marina and would like to invite everyone to join in on the fun and support the reason for this event … the education of our youth!
