Frances Louise Lasseigne, 56, a native of Leesville, LA and resident of Gray, LA passed away on June 6, 2017. A visitation will be held in her honor on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park, from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Monday, June 12, 2017 at First Baptist Church Of Houma, from 8:30 a.m. until the Religious Service at 11 a.m. The burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, LA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Terry Lasseigne; children, Cassandra "Sandra" Lasseigne and husband, Kevin Richard, Bradley "Brad" Lasseigne and wife, Hannah, and Christopher "Chris" Lasseigne; siblings, Jimmie Dowden, Martha Toothman and husband, Rodney, David Phillips, and Wesley Lane; grandchildren, Lacey Richard, Emily Richard, Lucas Harrison, Kyra Lasseigne, and Madison Lasseigne; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James E. Phillips and Minnie Marie Wright and brother, Jerry Phillips.

She loved to travel with her family and was best at spoiling her grandchildren. She had faith in her God, which was so strong that it gave her the ability to lead her family unlike anyone. She will be missed by many but loved by all that were a part of her life.

We all have special people in our lives that we know have our backs, no matter what. Who love us and never judge us but will certainly be honest with us. That person was Fran.
