Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced four people were arrested after deputies discovered drugs at a Galliano motel room.
Dodie Bourg, 37, Toni Orgeron, 31, and Darwin Vizier, 40, all of Galliano, and Danielle Hebert, 46, of Cut Off were arrested early Saturday morning following a search of the motel room.
At around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, October 24, deputies responded to a Galliano motel after workers had spotted suspected illegal narcotics and paraphernalia in a guest room while assisting one of the guests. Deputies arrived at the room and made contact with several individuals inside, immediately noting strong odor of burnt marijuana.
After obtaining consent to search the room, deputies discovered approximately 23.1 grams of crack cocaine, four individual bags of containing a combined total of approximately 17.8 grams of cocaine, three Soma pills and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies determined the items to belong to Hebert, Orgeron and Bourg. Deputies also found Hebert to be in possession of two Xanax pills and over $700 in cash, and Vizier was found to be in possession of around 0.3 grams of crack cocaine. Deputies also learned Vizier, Bourg and Orgeron each had outstanding warrants.
All four were arrested and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux. Orgeron, Hebert and Bourg were each charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine, and possession of Soma (Carisoprodol) and drug paraphernalia.
Bourg was additionally booked with warrants for distribution of crack cocaine, theft of goods, remaining after being forbidden, probation violation, and contempt of court. She is being held in lieu of $89,000 bond as set by Judge Jerome J. Barbera, III, and she is also being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole.
Orgeron was also additionally booked on a contempt warrant for Thibodaux City Court and is being held in lieu of $16,000 while also serving a 30-day jail sentence for the warrant.
Hebert was additionally booked with possession of Xanax (Alprazolam) and is being held in lieu of $31,000 bond. Meanwhile, Vizier was booked with possession of crack cocaine and two counts of contempt of court, and he is being held in lieu of $21,000 bond.
