Devon Still eager to shake hands with Sean Payton
CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still is eager to shake hands with Saints coach Sean Payton on Sunday and say thanks in person.
Payton bought 100 of Still's No. 75 jersey when he and the Bengals were starting a campaign to raise money for pediatric cancer research and treatment. Still's 4-year-old daughter, Leah, is starting another round of chemotherapy for cancer.
Still and Payton have talked on the phone. They plan to meet on the field Sunday in New Orleans.
The Bengals (5-3-1) are likely to be without running back Giovani Bernard, who missed practice again Thursday with an injured shoulder and hip. It's unclear whether linebacker Rey Maualuga will be back against the Saints (4-5).
