-- Accepted minutes of Council meetings of November 27, December 11 Special Meeting and December 11, 2018

-- Heard a proclamation by Parish President Jimmy Cantrelle honoring 9 Lafourche parish students for their art work submitted for the 2019 Calendar Contest

-- Heard a proclamation by Parish President Jimmy Cantrelle proclaiming April 2019 as Fair Housing Month

-- Heard a proclamation by Parish President Jimmy Cantrelle declaring April 22-26, 2019 as National Community Development Week

-- Passed an ordinance providing for a Supplemental Appropriation within the 2019 Budget to fund RSTD2 4L Road Projects, Phase 2 in the amount of $2,230,000

-- Passed an ordinance providing for a Supplemental Appropriation within the 2019 Budget for the Petco Foundation Grant of $90,000 awarded to the Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter

-- Moved a proposed ordinance approving an Act of Donation between the Parish and the Drainage District No. 1 for a Lo-Lift Propeller Pump needed for the West Larose Electric Pump Station

-- Moved a proposed ordinance approving an Act of Donation between the Parish and the Drainage District No. 1 for a Lo-Lift Propeller Pump needed for the McCloud Pump Station

-- Moved a proposed ordinance providing for a Supplemental Appropriation to receive funding from Drainage District No. 1 in the amount of $50,000 for the West 56th Street Project

-- Passed a resolution requesting the District Attorney to render an opinion as to whether the position of deputy director needs to be ratified by the Council and whether a deputy director appointment may be made when neither the position nor the vacancy exists

-- Appointed Courtney Hubbell to the Library Board of control

-- Reappointed Kurt Autin to the Hospital Service District No. 2 Board

-- Appointed Norman Lefort and Wayne Doucet to the Ambulance Service District No. 1 Board

-- Passed a resolution accepting the low quote of Blouin Fence & Shutter, Inc., in the amount of $3,780 for demolition of a condemned structure at 109 East 23rd Street, Larose LA.

-- Passed a resolution approving an agreement between the Parish and Barowka and Bonura Engineers and Consultants, LLC for the Lafourche Parish-FMA FY17 Elevation Project of seven homes

-- Passed a resolution approving a Change Order No. 1 for the contract with Beverly Construction, Co., LLC for the Lafourche Parish Airport Access Corridor to decrease the contract price by $38,845.20

-- Passed a resolution authorizing GIS Engineering, LLC to proceed with construction for the project titled “Drainage Improvements-West 217th Street, Galliano, LA

-- Heard notices of public hearing to be held at the Mathews Government Complex on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 6 p.m. for the purpose of considering levying additional or increased millage rates without further voter approval or adopting the adjusted millage rates after reassessment and rolling forward in rates not to exceed the prior year’s maximum for both the General Alimony Fund and the Criminal Tax Fund.

-- Heard a monthly report on drainage work done by the Department of Public Works throughout the parish as per Ordinance 6036.
