Bridge tolls amnesty program ends Oct. 1
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — An amnesty program for motorists who owe toll fees on the Crescent City Connection bridges ends Oct. 1, state officials say.
The program began in July after tolls were removed from the bridges, which cross the Mississippi River at New Orleans.
Motorists who owe toll fees can pay outstanding balances without late charges and administrative fees until Oct 1, the state Department of Transportation and Development says.
The program application and additional information are available online at www.ccctollamnesty.com or by emailing email@example.com.
