Betty Ann Pierce, 82, a native and resident of Lockport, died June 22, 2013 at 3:09 p.m.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday June 25. A mass of Christian will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport  with interment in Holy Savior Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick Joseph Pierce, Sr.;  daughters, Paulette Pertuit and companion R. J. (Buck) Hebert, Mary Gaudet, Linda Eschette, Janine and husband Melvin Melancon, Mitzi and husband Charles Cranshaw, Michelle Folse and companion Charlee Craig; sister, Geraldine Adams; son-in-law, Daniel L. Robichaux; daughter-in-law, Janelle T. Pierce, and former-daughter-in-Iaw, Elizabeth F. Pierce Plaisance; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean Paul and Anna Loupe Punch; sons, Frederick Jr. and Michael Anthony Pierce; daughter, Susan Robichaux; son-in-law, Ernest J. (Poncho) Eschette; former daughter-in-law, Barbara K. Pierce; sisters, Odette Guidry, Irene Orgeron, Annie LeBlanc, and Eula Bye; brothers, Johnny, J.P. and Gerard Punch; grandson, Michael Pierce.
