Attorney General makes two child pornography arrests

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry announced the arrest of two men on over 40 counts of child pornography.

Nollie Verrett, 29 of Houma, was arrested on 37 counts of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles (under the age of 13).

Verrett was arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Jail as a result of an investigation initiated by Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit and assisted by Homeland Security Investigations, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Norris Cain, 71 of Lake Charles, was arrested on five counts of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
Cain was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Parish Jail as a result of an investigation initiated by Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit and assisted by Homeland Security Investigations, Louisiana State Police, and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
