Annie Rose Bernard Gaudet, a native and resident of Larose, died on Saturday, November 17, one day after her 69th birthday and following a ten-month battle with cancer.

Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose,on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 9 a.m. until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the church starting at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by the loves of her life, her husband of 47 years Ronald J. Gaudet and their daughters Katina and Kelly Gaudet.

She is also survived by her family, brother-in-law Joseph Davaine; nephews Joey Davaine and his wife Kathy and Jase Davaine, his fiancée Missy Womack, and their son Dillon Womack; and honorary daughter Trish Brunet Baudoin, her husband Dominic, and their children Madeline and Sean.

Although she leaves behind her family for now, she rejoins the family that went before her that she loved and missed so much, her parents Emile “Sauce” and Loridia Adams Bernard; sister Mary Lee Bernard Davaine; paternal grandparents Eugene Sr. and Julia Curole Bernard; and maternal grandparents Lucien Sr. and Marie Orgeron Adams.

Annie was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to her family and who will be forever missed by them.

Her husband and daughters wish to send special thanks to her niece Missy Womack for her time and care during Annie’s illness.

Those so inclined can make donations to Annie’s charities of choice St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Toys for Tots.
