Allen was the owner of Bluewater Shrimp Co. and numerous other businesses for over 40 years. He was an avid LSU fan, hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed traveling with family and friends. He took great pleasure in spending time with his grand children and sharing his love of hunting and fishing with them.

His love of The MACALLAN’s 18 year old scotch was only surpassed by his love for his family, so when you think of him, don’t be sad, remember the life he lead was full of adventure and love and he had no regrets, so smile at the memories you made with him and have a final… final…final in his honor.

A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2 until 8 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Houma, LA.

In lieu of flowers, Allen's final wishes were - Vote Trump 2020.
