ACTION: Appointed Noonie Autin chair of the council for 2019. Councilman Daniel Lorraine voted against.
ACTION: Appointed Jerry Jones vice chair of the council for 2019.
ACTION: Approved the minutes of the Aug. 14 meeting.
ACTION: Approved the minutes of the Aug. 21 meeting.
ACTION: Did not approve an amendment to the 2018 budget to add a community outreach coordinator in the Community Action Department. Council members Autin, Michael Gros and Craig Jaccuzzo voted for the amendment.
ACTION: Approved a 15 mph speed limit on Oak Street in Gheens and provided for Speed Limit and Speed Checked By Radar signs.

ACTION: Appointed Leah Watkins to the Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter Advisory Board.
ACTION: Amended the application for the Community Development Block Grant Katrina/Rita project for the Lockport Community and Recreation Center.
ACTION: Approved a transfer of $85,000 from the Butch Hill engine and pump replacement project to the Lake Drive Pump Station No. 3 project.
ACTION: Approved a transfer of $14,000 from the Elsie Tabor pump project to the auto start and stops project for District 2 pump stations.
ACTION: Appointed Faron Molaison to the Fire Protection District No. 8-C Board.
ACTION: Approved an amendment to the contract with CorrectHealth Lafourche for inmate health care services at the Lafourche jail to increase the personnel needed for the new facility and increase the annual base cost from $738,463 to $1,133,662.
